The verse quoted in this painting—-وَمِنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦٓ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا لِّتَسْكُنُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةًۭ وَرَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ—-means “Another of His signs is that He created spouses from among yourselves for you to live with in tranquillity: He ordained love and kindness between you. There truly are signs in this for those who reflect.”(Surah Ar-Rum: 21)

The calligraphy holds the centerstage in the painting flanked by two hand-crafted decorative circles each for the names of couple  and the date of nikah. The beige and navy blue colour scheme looks luxurious. The design on the circles is rendered with the gold imporession leaf.
